Heba Nowyhed is the Chief Scientific Officer at IconOVir Bio. She joined IconOVir from Vida Ventures, where she was a Senior Associate conducting scientific due diligence on investment opportunities in the Biotech space, and supporting portfolio companies. Previously she was at Kite, where she and her team played a key role in generating non-clinical data packages for multiple IND filings across CAR and TCR cell products for solid and liquid tumor indications. As an Associate Director at Kite, she successfully established cross functional collaborations, developed and led an Assay and Automation group, as well as led a team developing next-generation products for Kite’s solid tumor programs.
Heba received her Ph.D. at Yale University where she trained with Dr. Joseph Craft. She completed her Postdoctoral Fellowship with Dr. Lynn Hedrick in the Inflammation Department at the La Jolla Institute for Allergy and Immunology.
